Again a hard time for former cricketer Sreesanth. The former cricketer’s name was accused in a case of cheating with the other two men. Last week, he moved to Kerala High Court for an anticipatory bail. The Court’s interim order protected the cricketer from arrest. According to some sources, the matter is settled now between the two parties.

What Was the Matter?

A case was filed to Kannur town police in Kerala against Sreesanth and two other men for cheating 18.7 Lakhs rupees several times from April 2019. The cheating was connected with the construction of a sports academy at Kollur in Karnataka after being cheated, the victim lodged a police complaint. 

After that, the cricketer denied the allegation and claimed the matter was a conspiracy. He also said that this allegation against him was just not false but this had a hidden intention to harass him and his family. He also claimed that he was innocent and it was a conspiracy that was going over him when he was performing well in the Legends League cricket. 

Sreesanth’s Move to Kerala High Court:

After being accused, Sreesanth moved to Kerala High Court. On Friday, the Court asked Kerala police not to take any action against him till the next hearing on this case on Tuesday. Sreesanth’s plea stated, “ The petitioner (Sreesanth) out of his interest and passion for the game, gave tips and consultations to the 1st accessed when he approached him with the proposal to start a cricketing academy that too in Kollur a holy land for Hindus being the home ground of Lordess Mookambika Devi. his naivety never made him realize the trouble that was being portrayed by the 1st accused. The petitioner has never had any transaction with the complaint.” 

The Kerala High Court Ordered, “ He directed Sreesanth’s counsel to implead the defacing complainant as the public prosecutor submitted that the matter is settled. File an application at the earliest. Post on December 8, 2023. Interim order granted.” the next hearing is scheduled on December 8.
